ABOUT

While putting myself through college at the State University College at Brockport to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, I worked as an evening desk clerk, housekeeper, and laundry attendant to gain valuable knowledge and experience in different aspects of running a motel. I was soon managing three motels that sprawled over two towns. I decided it was a passion of mine to work in the hospitality industry and switched my major from Computer Science to Business Administration with a concentration in Management. 

 

Over the years I have managed multiple hotel brands from IHG, Carlson, Choice Hotels International, and Wyndham. Before starting my own company I was Director of Operations for a New York based management company where I oversaw six hotels covering three states.  Benshel Consulting is located in Upstate New York.
